Feather Hair Extensions!

I absolutely love this whole feather hair extensions trend, especially considering I can't have unnatural colors in my hair where I work. So I went on a search for some that weren't expensive and that were cool looking without being unnatural colors, and I found the PERFECT ones! I looked on Etsy and the seller Phenomenalfeathers had the best prices and low and behold... they had a bundle of five feathers for $14 which I didn't think was bad at all, especially for long feathers. A lot of the sellers on Etsy have short ones which I just don't think would look good in long hair, unless you put them in your bangs or maybe certain shorter layers. I want more already.

I love the ones that are striped because I feel like they stand out really well against my hair. The only downside of these is that if you put them in yourself it's kind of hard to get them really close to your roots, which is what you want to do so when your hair grows you don't have a bead half way down your hair. But the seller gave me two beads so once my hair grows a little more I'm just going to have someone help me and put them in by my root!

Boring OOTD

I edited the last picture kinda weird but I thought it looked cool like that so I hope you don't mind! This is a really boring outfit, I just bought a pack of these Hanes shirts and I have been in LOVE. I want to wear them every day. The necklace is from H&M and I love it but I do wish it was just a little bit shorter. And I have my hair in a braid which I never do! But knowing me I'll probably take it out because the hair I had to pin back keeps falling out and it's annoying me. I think when my hair grows more it'll look better, huh?

Old/New Nails!

So I was looking through my phone and found a couple pictures of nail art, or whatever, that were from a little bit ago butttt I figured I would post them anyways. I'm not too good at this blogging thing. I'm tryin, I'm tryin! Anyways, here you go! 

I did that one after I watched a youtube video and wanted to try it, but I didn't do all my nails like it. Maybe one day I will. I really like the color combo though!

These were my St.Pattys Day nails, I like to do gradients. :)

Glitter polka dots! I enjoy this quite a bit.

These were for Easter... I kind of really don't like them. I like my thumb nail and pointer finger and that's about it. I realized as I was doing my thumb that I was going to have to do it on my other hand, so I tried to simplify my plans for the rest of the nails. The ring finger came out a disaster, the nail polish did NOT want to cooperate with me! The pointer finger was inspired by a picture that came up when I googled Easter nails. :)

These are my current nails, I used the black China Glaze shatter polish and put it more heavily on the bottom of my nail and then dragged it to the edge. I reallly really like the turn out. The pink polish is Color Club and I was a little dissapointed because the name is something with coral in it but it's pretty much just a hot pink. Either way, I enjoy these nails. :)

Outfit of the Day!

This is the first time you guys will see my face! That's kinda weird. Maybe I should introduce myself. My name is Ashley..Maybe I'll try to find a get-to-know-me survey thing? I don't think anyone even looks at this haha. ONE DAY.... hopefully. I just wore this to class and then that's about all I've done today. I lead an exciting life!

Oh, and sorry it's on my webcam. I don't really have a way to take pictures of my whole outfits with my camera. :)

Outfit & headband!

Gradient nails!

So! The other day I was painting my nails and I was all like, "Hey Ashley, you have a handy dandy blog now." And that, my friends, is how we got here today. I'm sorry if the pictures aren't the best but gimme a break, I'M NEW!

Let's get it started! 

From left to right (class picture style):

                                                          Seche Vite base coat
                                                          Color Club Naughtycal Navy
                                                          Sinful Colors Queen of Beauty
                                                          OPI Show It and Glow It
                                                          Seche Vite top coat


So first I just put on the base coat and then two coats of Naughtycal Navy!

Excuse the nail polish on my fingers... I am human!
Next I put Queen of Beauty on the tips and kind of almost all the way to the bottom, but doing it more thinly towards the bottom of the nail.

And last is Show It and Glow It! Do the same thing, concentrating the glitter towards the tips of the nails and applying it lighter as you go down the nail.

Aaaaaaaaand after my shower...... !



I finished it off with two coats of Seche Vite also. I don't think these pictures do them justice, but maybe you'll just have to try it yourself to see! ;)
